Alum Spotlight: Terrance Watson

Terrance W. Watson is a College & Readiness Coach at Eastern Hills High School in the Fort Worth ISD.   Terrance was one of the 27 students in the inaugural Class of 1993, and was an intern in the Conrad Program from 1993 – 1997. .  While in the Conrad Program, Terrance interned at the Attorney General’s Office, Child Support Division.  Terrance has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Paul Quinn College.  His hobbies are bowling, tennis, traveling, and track & field.

Says Terrance:  “I was a diamond in the rough at Paul Quinn College”.

Of the impact of the Conrad Internship, Terrance says:

“I am fortunate to be one of the twenty-seven students in the inaugural program in 1993.  The program provided me the leadership skills, motivation and encouragement to be successful black man.  Also, it molded my capabilities and talents to become a successfully Pre-College Advisor and now College & Career Readiness Coach”.

Terrance’s words of wisdom for current Conrad Interns:  “If you don’t ask, don’t know.  Work smart not hard”.
